Rome - Colosseum and Roman Forum
Morning visit to the COLOSSEUM and the ROMAN FORUM, where Roman legions marched in triumph. Tour some of the city's fountains and majestic squares: Piazza Barberini, Triton Fountain, Via Veneto, Villa Borghese, and Trevi Fountain. See the famous “SPANISH STEPS”. Finish the evening with a meal in a typical Roman restaurant.

Rome LDS Temple - Catacombs - Pompeii - Sorrento - Isle of Capri
Depart for the Rome Temple! We will make reservation for the endowment session, sealings, and initatory. Those not entering the Temple will have a picture taking Visit and then head to Rome for shopping & free time.
Afternoon: Depart for a tour of the Roman Catacombs on the way to Pompeii. Arrive in fascinating POMPEII, the Roman city both destroyed and preserved by an eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Our Local Guide will walk you past patrician homes, public baths, and commercial districts. After the tour, depart for Sorrento.
From Sorrento, board a boat with your day bag for the picturesque Island of Capri, located in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the Sorrentine Peninsula. It’s on the south side of the Gulf of Naples, in southern Italy’s spectacular Campania region. Blue skies and turquoise water, breathtaking views, couture shops and cafés characterize this bit of paradise. Overnight in Capri!

Verona is a city in northern Italy’s Veneto region, with a medieval old town built between the meandering Adige River. It’s famous for being the setting of Shakespeare’s "Romeo and Juliet." A 14th-century residence with a tiny balcony overlooking a courtyard is said be "Juliet’s House." The Verona Arena is a huge 1st-century Roman amphitheater, which currently hosts concerts and large-scale opera performances
Lake Como, in Northern Italy’s Lombardy region, is a lake of glacial origin. It has an area of 146 square kilometres (56 sq mi), making it the third-largest lake in Italy, after Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore is an upscale resort area known for its dramatic scenery, set against the foothills of the Alps. The lake is shaped like an upside-down Y, with three slender branches that meet at the resort town of Bellagio. At the bottom of the southwest branch lies the city of Como, home to Renaissance architecture and a funicular that travels up to the mountain town of Brunate.
Lugano is a city in southern Switzerland’s Italian-speaking Ticino region. Its Swiss- Mediterranean mix of cultures is closely related to that of Italy’s northern Lombardy region. This mix is reflected in its architecture and cuisine. The city stands on the northern shore of glacial Lake Lugano, surrounded by mountains. Its main square, Piazza della Riforma, is ringed with pastel-colored, neoclassical palazzi.

Interlaken is a traditional resort town in the mountainous Bernese Oberland region of central Switzerland. Built on a narrow stretch of valley, between the emerald-colored waters of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, it has old timber houses and parkland on either side of the Aare River. Its surrounding mountains, with dense forests, alpine meadows and glaciers, has numerous hiking and skiing trails.
Zermatt, in southern Switzerland’s Valais canton, is a mountain resort renowned for skiing, climbing and hiking. The town, at an elevation of around 1,600m, lies below the iconic, pyramid-shaped Matterhorn peak. Its main street, Bahnhofstrasse is lined with boutique shops, hotels and restaurants, and also has a lively après-ski scene. There are public outdoor rinks for ice-skating and curling.
